A place for those who love bears, from the smallest species to the largest.

Bear Species(8 species):
-Brown bear
-American Black bear
-Asiatic Black bear
-Polar bear
-Giant Panda
-Sun bear
-Sloth bear
-Andean/Spectacled bear

Unfortunately, all bears are at risk of disappearing. Due to habitat loss(urban sprawl,illegal logging etc), poaching, persecution, bear farming and etc.

Submission Rules:
:bulletred: No more than 8 submissions per person a week
:bulletred: They have to have bears(Ursids) in them
:bulletred: All media is allowed
:bulletred: No Pedo Bear(I'm sure a lot of people know who that cartoon bear is)
:bulletred: Absolutely no copyrighted work(ex. screenshots from movies)

:bulletgreen: Work of all skill levels is allowed here.

I happened to run across these gorgeous studio photographs by Jill Greenberg on The Telegraph the other day: Bears by Jill Greenberg

Yes, obviously they are real. These are actually acting bears(actors/actresses). You might recognize some of them from films(I recognize Bonkers, he played the adult Winnie from "A Bear Named Winnie" Though the real Winnie(Winnipeg) was a she.

Anyway, enjoy looking at these beautiful photographs by Jill Greenberg!
